The Art and Ecology axis is among the themes covered by the educational mam as a way of inviting the museum and its audiences to think and rethink the ecological problem of today's society.
Considering contemporary art as an interdisciplinary area of knowledge in which the relationships between art and life are both a starting point for reflections and artistic practices, as well as a place for meeting and exchanging knowledge and experiences between the museum and the city, public and artist, teachers and students. We can reflect on how art can be the medium or phrase that provokes the questions that need to be asked about the ways of life we cultivate and that shape the world in which we live.

audio guide waters of Ibirapuera
Who visits the Amigo MAM and stroll through Ibirapuera Park, you probably crossed one of the rivers that cross the park. Maybe you even enjoyed a beautiful afternoon around it, since the river surroundings tend to attract many visitors who are accustomed and tired of the asphalt and concrete that cover the city of São Paulo.
The waters that make up the rivers of Ibirapuera travel a long distance to reach the park and follow different destinations after passing through it. The “Water of Ibirapuera” audio guide is an invitation to embark on a journey along these rivers and learn about their stories. Each track is accompanied by a map that highlights points in Ibirapuera Park, the location of the Amigo MAM with emphasis on the Sapateiro and Caaguaçu rivers.
This audio guide was directed, produced and created by Rios e Ruas and Estúdio Laborg.

Among the themes present were: dreams, everyday life, existence and body. From these meetings, in which artists, teachers and educators participated, a Question Guide for a new time was created, collectively constructed and now available for free download.
