The postulate of art as a cure has become increasingly prominent in contemporary discussions, especially after the pandemic. But what kind of healing are we talking about, and what art are we referring to?
Based on these questions, this theoretical course seeks to explore different narratives related to this theme, covering constructions that articulate the idea of healing or transformation through the production and appreciation of different artistic expressions.
The four proposed classes will serve as panoramic structures to stimulate debates about the different interpretations of the term “cure”, analyzing art in a transdisciplinary way.
This course is open to anyone interested in the subject, and it is not necessary to have prior knowledge to participate in classes.
