This course addresses cultural mediation as a practice that connects art and education in institutional contexts through processes of participation, listening, and collective construction. Based on the notion of "doing together," it investigates mediation in different contexts: museum education, artistic creation processes, and curatorial work, understanding it as a relational experience that mobilizes audiences, activates repertoires, and produces meaning in public spaces.
Designed for educators, artists, curators, producers, and other arts professionals interested in artistic, curatorial, and pedagogical practices within the context of museum education, this course presents conceptual and methodological foundations for the development, recording, analysis, and evaluation of cultural mediation projects and proposals, paying attention to the ethical, political, and institutional dimensions involved.
