The course offers a conceptual approach to the economic dynamics that permeate the artistic universe, exploring the value of art, the behavior of collectors, and the impact of technological innovations. In five classes, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of the art economy, discussing classical theories of value, reports on real collections, the implications of new technologies, and the role of behavioral sciences in understanding the market. Aimed at artists, gallery owners, art advisors, and professionals linked to museums and cultural institutions, as well as professionals from related segments who want to deepen their knowledge of the art economy, the course seeks to broaden the understanding of the art segment and its main agents, connecting economic and cultural aspects.
