Using photography books and literary texts, participants are invited to expand their reflections and their perspective on photography as an artistic language, as a text and as a process of poetic construction on everyday relationships.
Each meeting presents a thematic axis that will guide the confluences and some possibilities for dialogue between these two languages.
How do writers approach the issues that permeate the world of photography? How do writers and photographers portray themselves?
In a dialogical way, we will try to answer these and other questions, together, from classic and contemporary authors of literature and photography, such as the writers Machado de Assis, Marília Garcia, Ana Martins Marques, Ricardo Aleixo, Orides Fontela and the photographers Carlos Moreira, Robert Frank, André Penteado, Reymond Meeks, Masahisa Fukase, among others.
The themes and references, in addition to being the basis of the content presented, serve as a starting point for photographic practices that will be proposed and discussed during the meetings.
