MAM's course program is organized into four thematic areas that address modern and contemporary Brazilian art from different perspectives, ranging from artistic production to its distribution, reception and mediation processes, including training aimed at professionals working in cultural institutions. The goal is to promote a broad debate on the social and aesthetic issues that influence the artistic field, in addition to encouraging students to develop a repertoire that is sensitive to the museum's activities, exhibitions and collection.

Offered in the following formats online and/or in personThe courses are taught by renowned professionals in fields such as photography, art history and criticism, literature, museology, and cultural production. The program aims to cater to a diverse audience, including beginners and experts interested in the dissemination and appreciation of contemporary art.

Theoretical expository courses on art history and criticism, which explore different approaches, perspectives and contexts.

Theoretical and practical courses for interested parties and professionals working in museums and cultural institutions on topics such as research, conservation, mediation, curation and production.

3. Contemporary Cultural Themes
Theoretical and practical courses designed to understand contemporary historical, aesthetic and political issues, integrating different areas of knowledge.

4. Artistic Practices
Practical courses and study groups designed to guide students' artistic production in the languages of the visual arts.
