This meeting aims to share experiences and educational processes developed through ongoing work with young children in the context of museums and art education. Activities encompass a variety of artistic languages, from singing games to experimenting with natural paints and storytelling, involving adults and babies, who participate in discovering new sensory possibilities and fostering awareness together.
Amanda Alves Vilas Boas Oliveira
Amanda Alves Vilas Boas Oliveira ou Amanza is an educator and photographer. Her academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) and a Technical Degree in Visual Communication from ETEC Tiquatira. She hosts the podcast "O Conceito" (The Concept) on art history and pop culture. She has worked at cultural institutions such as the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo and SESC Consolação, the São Paulo Municipal Department of Culture, and the production of peripheral cultural projects. She is currently an educator at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art. Her research encompasses the right to the city, musical expressions, and childhood culture.
Caroline Machado
She is an educator, artist, and cultural producer. She is a Dance Technician with a degree in Visual Arts and a postgraduate student in the course "Pedagogy of Details in Childhood Education: on Epistemologies, Utopias, and Stubbornness" at A Casa Tombada. Her research explores the interconnected relationships between body, memory, and aspects of Afro-diasporic and Brazilian popular culture in the field of art education.
Accessible in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras). This free virtual activity is open to the public and is open to teachers, educators, researchers, students, and artists.
