Mafuane Oliveira, with his “Magic Keychain”, a special instrument that opens the doors to all the stories in the world, accompanied by musician Rafael Galante, invites the public to meet Cinderella from Rio, inspired by versions of Cinderella found in the Brazilian northeast. The public will have fun strolling through cultural landscapes and getting to know other regional icons: in place of the fairy godmother, we have an enchanted fish, a magic rose, comadres, girls named Maria and a river that changes the course of life. The book Cinderela do Rio, by author Mafuane Oliveira with illustrations by Taisa Borges, was selected by the PROAC 2023 Public Notice of the Secretariat of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry of the Government of the State of São Paulo and is being published by Editora Peirópolis.

In-person activity for teachers, educators, researchers, students and artists, open to the public. Limited spaces. Registration 30 minutes in advance with MAM Educativo at the MAC USP reception.
