Visual Vernacular (VV) is an aesthetic resource specific to sign language. It is present in the daily life of the language and the deaf community, in its literature, poetry, as well as in music and theater. Through it, an image is narrated beyond the signs of words.
Fábio de Sá He has a degree in Literature/LIBRAS and took a theater course in accessibility. He is a teacher, actor, artist, consultant for theater plays in LIBRAS and LIBRAS proofreader. He worked as a LIBRAS teacher at PUC-SP, CES Rio Branco and Senac. He taught Visual Vernacular workshops in countries such as Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Brazil. He presented poems using Visual Vernacular and Poetry in LIBRAS in France, Chile, Colombia, Japan and Brazil. He participated in the Clin d'Oeil Festival in France and the Septimo International Festival Arte Sordo Visual Vernacular in 2019.
