

The selection of 67 artists for the 21st Panorama was the result of a multidisciplinary curatorship that combined the expertise of each member of the committee responsible. Considering the main procedures of art on paper, the exhibition was divided into four sections – prints, drawings, paper as a medium and artist's book – and also presented, in a Special Room, the work of Henrique Oswald.
In total, around 220 works were exhibited and the artists Arnaldo Battaglini, Ester Grinspum, Milton Machado and Nelson Leirner were awarded.
Since the 2nd Panorama in 1970, official committees have been established to select artists and works for exhibitions, as well as award prizes. See below the list of members of these committees in the 1990s:
