

In 1991, Panorama once again focused on three-dimensional forms of contemporary Brazilian art, bringing together more than 80 works by 44 artists. In a more concise edition due to the economic crisis the country was experiencing at the time, the 22nd Panorama only awarded one artist with the sponsored acquisition prize, Ernesto Neto, and did not publish a catalogue, but only a folder with the list of works and the exhibition credits.
The MAM headquarters is temporarily closed due to renovations to the Ibirapuera Park marquee.
