Opening the celebrations of three decades of the Sculpture Garden, the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo promotes the seminar on October 20th mam debate: Sculpture Garden – 30 years. The meeting proposes discussions and reflections on this open-air exhibition space, with public and free access. This is the first activity in an extensive program commemorating the existence of the Garden, which in 2023 turns 30 years old.

O Mam Sculpture Garden Today it represents the largest exhibition area in the museum's collection, and brings together 30 works by modern and, for the most part, contemporary artists. The constitution of the Garden, its links with Ibirapuera Park, landscaping and architecture, as well as the modern program that regulates part of its design will be topics covered at the tables, composed of guests from academic and artistic circles. Throughout the debates, the historical dynamics and the listing of Ibirapuera Park and artistic interventions in public and urban spaces will also be presented. The program will also feature a speech paying tribute to the artist Emanoel Araújo (1940 – 2022) and a performance in the Jardim space.
