Paulo César Garcez Marins is a historian, PhD in Social History and associate professor at the University of São Paulo, professor and member of the body of curators at the Museu Paulista at the University of São Paulo, professor of the postgraduate programs in Architecture and Urbanism at FAUUSP and in Museology from USP. He is currently head of the Collections and Curatorial Division at Museu Paulista and president of the Research Committee. He was deputy coordinator of the long-term exhibition project designed for the reopening of the Ipiranga Museum in September 2022. He is the main researcher of the Thematic Project “Collect, identify, process, disseminate: the curatorial cycle and the production of knowledge”, financed by Fapesp, based at the USP Museum of Contemporary Art.
