He is the general coordinator of the Museu do Homem do Nordeste, Fundação Joaquim Nabuco, Recife. He was curator of the 29th São Paulo Biennale (2010) and the Brazilian pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale (2011). He was the curator of solo exhibitions by artists Cildo Meireles (Estação Pinacoteca, São Paulo, 2006), Rosângela Rennó (MAMAM, Recife, 2006), Jac Leirner (Estação Pinacoteca, São Paulo, 2011), Cao Guimarães (Itaú Cultural, São Paulo, 2013), Alfredo Jaar (Sesc Pompeia, São Paulo, 2021) and Paulo Bruscky (Galeria Marco Zero, Recife, 2022).
