Educational visits are conversations in which critical reflection is encouraged through art and poetic experiences, which bring the museum's public closer to artistic experiences and processes.
MAM Educativo offers virtual and in-person visits inspired by current exhibitions, past exhibitions available for virtual tours, the Sculpture Garden and the OSGEMEOS panel. Schedule yours!

Days and times: from Tuesday to Friday at 10am, 10:30am, 14pm and 14:30pm (to schedule on other days or times, check availability via email educational@mam.org.br)
Virtual visits: No. Zoom, Meet or the group's preferred platform (provided by them)
In-person visits: groups of 10 people, following safe visit protocols
For visits in Libras and foreign languages (English and Spanish), check availability by email educational@mam.org.br.
Request an audio description interpreter within 48 hours.
We offer alternative opening hours for people with sensory hypersensitivity, agoraphobia, among others, in order to minimize space information with less flow of people and noise in the environment. People with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), neurodiverse or with a specific syndrome can benefit from this service. Check availability via email educational@mam.org.br.

Program aimed at school audiences, from early childhood education to university. Through it, the teacher can align the curricular content of his discipline with the exhibition schedule.

poetic experiences
At MAM São Paulo, we call “poetic experiences” proposals for artistic-pedagogical activities that encourage the creation of a museum – and a world – of other perceptions. During mediated visits MAM, different readings of the world are triggered and allow the construction of meaning about issues that a work of art can raise. The dialogues that take place between visitors and the educational team instigate a sensitive and critical look at different contexts. From this reflection we begin the exercise of creative experimentation, which allows us to imagine and create new possibilities. Poetic experiences can be studio activities, creation of verses and stories, body dynamics or other propositions that stimulate the construction of meaning through contact with artistic creation. These are experimental situations that involve fields in which the results are not predictable.

The poetic experiences created by MAM Educativo are available on the museum's social networks. The artistic-pedagogical proposals can be used for teachers to apply in the classroom, adapting them according to each group and context, as well as for families to carry out independently at home.
