This special Carnival version of mam sunday will feature a show not to be missed with the Alana Band and Bloco Lembra que eu Vou (Remember that I am going). The bands’ performances will stick to the beat of a repertoire of Carnival music for everyone.

This meeting led by Ana Beatriz Giacomini, curator of the mam collection, is part of the mam collectors’ club, and will address issues surrounding and guidelines for preventive conservation for the preservation of private collections housed in residential spaces. Topics to be discussed include how to clean works, non-recommended procedures and other general measures to take in caring for art.

Antonio Bandeira exhibition held in the Milú Villela Hall, which presents little-known works by a pioneer in abstract art in Brazil. Curated by Regina Teixeira de Barros and Giancarlo Hannud, the works assembled show different stages of the artist’s Production, from his first figurative paintings to the large canvasses from the late years of his career.

The mam library presentes a show by Fernando Lemos: literary illustrations. Original drawings by the artist that illustrate poems and stories printed in newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo in the 1950s. Visit Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
